01The action
Most jigs go quiet on the drop. Tafros hunts on it.
The V-Rolling Sinking action keeps the body rolling through the descent, throwing movement and flash across the water column while other jigs simply fall. Worked on a tight line it follows each rod twitch and holds that roll longer; given slack it settles weight-down and slips past structure.
A moving core inside.
The internal weight shifts toward the head during the cast, which loads the rod and adds real distance. As soon as the jig enters the water the weight travels back toward the tail, and it is that transfer which creates the V-Roll. Once it settles at the rear the jig returns to a balanced, controlled descent.

High visibility for low light and searching water. The chartreuse body carries the UV glow furthest when the light drops.

03Design and build
Designed in Greece. Inspired by a prawn.
Tafros began with a simple goal: a squid jig that pairs a lifelike prawn profile with a genuinely dynamic underwater presence. Slim silhouette, textured body, UV glow and a tuned internal balance make it feel less like another lure and more like a small engineered system.
Fourteen prototypes went to sea before this one went to production. Casting range, sink rate and the roll itself were adjusted against real conditions rather than simulations; the fourteenth body is the one that held its action in current, at depth and at range.

Built as a system, not a shell.
Each finish is the same body and the same action. The colour changes how the jig reads to the squid, not how it moves.

Shipping
We offer a next working day delivery for orders placed before 6:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Orders placed after this will be delivered within two working days. This excludes Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Shipping is free on all orders over 60€.
Returns
Returns will be accepted for up to 14 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item, only in the case of:
- Received the wrong item
- Item arrived not as expected (ie. damaged packaging)
- Item had defects
The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.
